ABOUT:

Nature is the root of my artistic inspiration. I create visual journeys through fields, forests, beaches and mountains. When working in nature, I see my adventures through a Low-Fantasy lens that creates mystical art. I create hand bound artist books that contain the illustrated stories of these journeys and adventures. As well as the artist books, I use photography to capture ephemeral experiences that I cannot document within the books themselves. I used mixed media that mainly consists of watercolour paint, fine liner, collage and mark making. I then take these sketches and photographs to create larger paintings usually oil on canvas.

 am interested in Scientific illustration both Biological and Botanical. Both of my parents are immunologists and I have grown up with science in the household. I like to make art that is both beautiful to look at, and educational. 

I am a practicing witch, I use my time in nature to ground and surround myself in the beauty of the natural world. 

Growing up in the countryside, I have been surrounded by forests and fields, the ocean has played a role in my artistic journey as well, seeing family by the sea and sailing on the ocean has captivated me from a young age.
