ABOUT:

Nature is the root of my artistic inspiration. I create visual journeys through fields, forests, beaches and mountains. When working in nature, I see my adventures through a Low-Fantasy Lease that creates mystical sequential art. Urban environments inspire modern work that takes reference from people and places. I create hand bound artist books that contain the illustrated stories of these journeys and adventures. As well as the artist books, I use photography to capture ephemeral experiences that I cannot document within the books themselves. I used mixed media that mainly consists of watercolour paint, fine liner, collage and marker pens. I do also experiment with sculpture and digital art.  
Fashion is another passion of mine and I will use it to inspire my artistic creations. When working within nature I dress to embody surroundings. This helps me to become one with my subject matter, aiding me in creating immersive artwork. Similarly, in Urban environments I style myself to reflect the location that I am going to. Taking into consideration the fashion trends of the time. Finally, I am interested in Scientific illustration both Biological and Botanical. Both of my parents are immunologists and I have grown up with science in the household. I like to make art that is both beautiful to look at, and educational.
