Sketches and Artist books
I usually create my sketches in handmade sketchbooks. I use a coptic stitch in many of them because it allows for full movement of the book. These sketches are made using mixed media often with collage and polaroids added to them.
Larger artworks.
From my sketches and photography I then create larger pieces of work. Having multi-media references helps me to create these larger artworks so that I can try to recreate the atmosphere more accurately.
PHOTOGRAPHY.
I find that taking photographs throughout my walks helps me to contextualise my artwork. They are also beautiful reminders of the places I have been to. I use them on my instagram account to show my viewers where I have been, as if they are there with me.
DIGITAL WORKS.
A collection of digital works that have been created from briefs.
SCULPTURES
Replications of naturally occurring objects I have observed. Using Epoxy and Crank Clay.
